Calgary Alberta Staffing Contract Oct 21, 2021 Information Technology BH - Portfolio Manager - Calgary (Remote)   JOB OVERVIEW: On behalf of our client, Brainhunter Systems is seeking an IT Portfolio Manager to join our oil & gas clients digital team for a 1-year contract. This person will oversee and manage a team of project managers and business analysts responsible for the planning and delivery of IT projects in the Digital department. These projects include IT infrastructure initiatives (e.g. data network, server, storage, disaster recovery, end user computing, cloud services, and data centre infrastructure), cybersecurity and risk, and IT service management projects to support the Digital Infrastructure & Operations team. PMP certification. 5+ years of experience managing large IT projects from initiation to closure. 5+ years of experience developing a team of technical professionals across multiple locations. Experience with core IT infrastructure components and service concepts. Experience managing conflict, escalations, negotiating compromise, influencing others and problem solving. Experience using Microsoft Office suite and other electronic communication tools. 2+ years of PPM tool or Microsoft Project experience.   PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Strong oral and written communication skills.
