Central Maintenance Planner - Contract Opportunity - Oil & Gas
On behalf of our midstream oil & gas client located in Calgary, AB, we are seeking an experienced Central Maintenance Planner to join their team on a full time, one-year contract.
Please note: This is a fully on site position based out of the downtown Calgary office.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Create and optimize preventive maintenance, CBM plans, encompassing routine inspections, calibrations and equipment servicing for all new and existing assets, to minimize downtime and extend the lifespan of physical assets.
- Manage PMs, streamline and update for new assets and remove as required; and refine PM compliance reporting.
- Review and improve existing maintenance plans based on code updates, industry standards, and experience. Act as the central point of contact for the coordination and implementation of new preventive maintenance plans
- Assist with daily change requests (CR’s) and system maintenance.
- Collaborate with site maintenance teams at different locations to establish standardized maintenance practices, ensuring consistency and adherence to company policies and procedures.
- Analyze equipment performance data and historical maintenance information to identify optimization opportunities and make data driven recommendations for improving reliability and cost effectiveness.
- Perform PM forecasting & leveling to support sites and the development of maintenance budget for all sites
- Proactively identify opportunities for process optimization and continuous improvement across maintenance planning and scheduling, leveraging industry best practices and emerging technologies.
- Collaborate cross functional teams, including engineering, operations, and procurement, to ensure alignment of maintenance activities with overall corporate objectives and foster a culture of collaboration and knowledge sharing.
- Monitor and evaluate key performance indicator related to maintenance planning and scheduling, identifying areas of improvement, and implementing corrective actions as required.
- Maintain relevant code libraries and conduct periodic reviews of preventative maintenance instructions to ensure compliance with all codes and regulations.
Qualifications & Skills
- Mechanical trades/diploma/engineer with 10+ hands on experience with equipment and maintenance planning
- In-depth hands-on experience with Maximo related to maintenance planning & scheduling.
- Working knowledge of preventive and predictive maintenance & Technologies.
- Organized and detail-oriented with the ability to lead and manage multiple projects.
- Self-starter, operationally & commercially driven with the ability to integrate teams over multiple geographic areas.
- Has the ability to influence others to adopt a different point of view. Impacts the achievement of operations and maintenance objectives by setting the directions.
- Experience driving change across multiple sites.
- Lead others to solve complex problems, uses analytics tools to identify & implement innovative solutions.
