BH - Sr. Project Manager – Cybersecurity – Contract (12-months)
On behalf of our top oil & gas client, Brainhunter Systems is looking to fulfill a 12-month full-time contract for a Senior Project Manager. The successful candidate will be responsible for scoping, defining, managing, and delivering projects in the Digital Risk & Cyber organization. Preference will be given to the candidates with previous OT Cybersecurity and SIEM deployment projects (Nozomi rollout). This role will interface with the IT/OT project teams relating to cybersecurity mitigation plan support.
Location: Hybrid – Candidates must be available to occasionally work on-site (downtown Calgary)
Duration: 12 months’ (Full-Time)
Start Date: June 2022
Qualifications:
- 10+ years experience serving in the Project Manager role with 5+ years in a large enterprise with logistically complex projects.
- Experience managing cybersecurity-related infrastructure and applications projects
- Balanced business & technical background with a good understanding of core IT infrastructure & cybersecurity technologies e.g., SIEM, Vulnerability management tools, Cloud-based platforms, AD, VMWare & Hyper-Converged Infrastructure
- Have excellent Project Management skills in planning and monitoring project initiation through completion of multiple projects with a geographically distributed team.
- Experience with stage-gate project management processes (PMP certification an asset)
- Demonstrated experience as a Sr. project manager managing a minimum of five (5) enterprise-level IT infrastructure or Cybersecurity projects
Accountabilities:
- Create and maintain project documentation, Project charter, Project management plan, RACI, RAID logs, status reports, project schedules, etc.
- Manage vendors in delivering to assigned SOW
- Lead preparation of RFI & RFPs
- Manage project budget this includes maintaining an overall current view of the budget, actuals, and forecast numbers.
- Provide transparency into project health through published schedules, regular status reporting, and current budget and forecasts
- Identify and manage technical dependencies and integration points within and between supporting systems, processes, policies, technologies, organizations, delivery partners, project teams, and any other identified stakeholder groups for enterprise programs, projects, and releases.
- Conduct impact analyses of technical dependencies, make recommendations for resolution and ensure technical decisions are communicated to all components of the program and owners of impacted upstream and downstream systems.
