About the Job:
Mindwire Systems is currently seeking a Senior Desk Side Technician to work for our valued Crown Corporation Client.
The position is located in Ottawa, ON
Responsibilities:
- Install, move, set up and provide ongoing support to all clients for desktop and laptop computers
- Install and configure software
- Provide technical problem-solving guidance and advice to users in person and remotely by phone
- Provide input into the creation and ongoing maintenance of a knowledge base on technical issues
- Provide input into [the ongoing amendment of] supporting standards, guidelines, and documentation
- Provide support as needed in the Asset Management process
Requirements and Qualifications:
- 3+ years of recent work experience in an information technology service desk as a deskside technician, in an operational environment supporting Windows 10
- 3+ years of demonstrated customer service experience
- Experience with SCCM and Active Directory
- Experience with a desktop hardware evergreen in a similar capacity
- French is an asset
