About the Job:
Mindwire Systems is seeking a Sr. Project Manager for a Permanent Opportunity with one of our Valued Private Sector Clients.
Client Location: Ottawa, ON (Hybrid Working Environment)
Responsibilities but not limited to:
- Lead operational and technology projects that directly impact the clients’ corporate objectives
- Lead multidisciplinary teams comprised of technical specialists, functional specialists, business subject-matter experts and external stakeholders
- Lead effective project delivery, risk mitigation, financial management, and resource planning, as well as compliance to policies, processes and standards
- Establish strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders and drive stakeholder engagement to ensure effective project delivery
- Contribute to the procurement and vendor management processes
- Contribute to process improvement initiatives and the development and rollout of project management methodologies, tools and techniques
Requirements and Qualifications:
- 5+ years' experience as a project manager working on IT related projects
- Needs to have worked in a PM capacity completing end to end IT projects
- Strong communication and ability to liaise with multiple teams/stakeholders is necessary
- Needs to be located in Ottawa and be able to go onsite for at least 3 days
- Ability to communicate in both official languages (English & French)
- PMP Certification
